Q: Does it cost to register with Obtain and order from your catalogues?
A: There is no fee to register with Obtain, and there are no ongoing membership costs. We charge our suppliers a procurement fee to cover our ongoing contract management costs, so that you can spend less. Obtain works on a no purchase - no fee basis providing assurance Obtain is negotiating the best terms for the buyer.
Q: How can I order products from Obtain and start saving?
A: To get started, complete an easy online registration form then start browsing our online catalogues to find great prices on the products and services you need.
Q: How much can I save through Obtain?
A: Our discounted pricing can save you up to 60% off suppliers’ normal list or trade prices (and sometimes more with special promotions). The actual savings you’ll make will vary depending on the type and quantity of products you purchase. Any savings you make contribute directly to your bottom line. For vaccine fridges, if you pay approximately $3,000 for a vaccine fridge you will have saved just over $400, as a discount of between 8% and 10% has already been negotiated. Q: What if I already trade with some of the suppliers on Obtain?
A: We work with a large range of suppliers in New Zealand, so there’s a good chance you’re already trading with some of them. When you register with Obtain it’s easy to connect your existing supplier accounts and ensure you’re getting Obtain pricing from that supplier. Login, click on My Account >> Supplier Accounts and Setup, then follow a few easy steps to connect your accounts.
Q: What if I don't want to set up an account with some of the suppliers on Obtain? Can I still purchase from them?
A: Yes you can. Many of our suppliers accept credit card payments from customers who don’t hold an account with them. The accepted payment methods are displayed on product pages, so you know how you’ll be paying for something before you’ve added it to your cart. Note that purchases from Rollex Medical do not need an account setup - just add what you need to the cart and go through the checkout to send a purchase order to Rollex Medical.
Q: How do transactions appear on my credit card statement?
A: Our easy checkout process allows you to make one credit card entry to complete your purchases from multiple suppliers. The payment to each supplier will be listed as separate transactions on your credit card statement.
Q: Does Obtain offer centralised billing?
A: No, Obtain does not provide a centralised billing service. Customers make payment to suppliers directly.
Q: How are orders processed?
A: Our easy checkout process splits your cart into purchase orders for each supplier. Pay securely by credit card or be invoiced by suppliers you hold an account with. Suppliers deliver the goods directly to you. Orders for vaccine fridges are sent to Rollex Medical who will then fulfil the order and invoice you according to their terms and conditions. Shipping costs will be included on the invoice.
Q: What should I do if the products don't arrive, there is an issue with the products, or I need to return them?
A: Please contact the supplier directly. When you make an order you’ll receive an order confirmation email which includes the supplier’s contact details. If you’re unable to resolve the issue with the supplier, please contact us.
Q: What if something I need is not listed on the catalogues?
A: Please contact us and let us know.
Q: What if I need a quote for something that can't be listed in a catalogue?
A: For goods and services not suited to a catalogue listing, or for high value items, you can request a quote from the supplier. Login, click on My Account >> Request Quote, then follow a few easy steps to find out more and request a quote. The supplier will contact you directly.
